btw.. these drives are Enterprise Class 2TB SATA drives.  They were from my old NAS that I had here a couple of years ago that I sold.

also, do you need a 3.5" drive enclosure for this?

I have my MP-1 already shipped to Philippe for modding. I hope he can make this unit usable again, since it was an quite old one.
I will use it with an Engl 830/50 poweramp, which in even worth condition and is in repair, too.
Since the Engl Stereo Poweramp has no front guitar input, it would be the right way to use it with the Mp-1 set to line level, right?

Bit I am not sure if it was part of the ultra+ mod and if after the modding the top switch is gone and everything is just line or instrument level anyways. I read something like this here on the board.

Anyways I am very excited to hear those two units together, when they got revitalised!

No worries sAmOe,

   MJMP will have the MP-1 up and running like a bat out of hell and the top switch will most likely be gone, so it will already be at line level.

  Depending on your choice of speaker cab(s), it's reasonable to assume it's going to sound great.
