Yo folks, here's some of my presets that I listed on the old Depot, now with some serious modifications.
EDIT 041216: Some gain/level/EQ fixes, especially the Vox ac30 Grunge fixed-up, added Ionni's JumJum, BAD IS NOT ENOUGH!, Hendrix Touch Wah
EDIT 121216: Added VINTAGE DIRT, Hendrix Hey Joe, MONEY FOR NOTHIN
EDIT 131216: Fixed the two Hendrix presets, now a Bit closer to reality
Gear used when defining my presets
I used to have a Digitech TSR-24S in the loop, currently replaced by a Behringer rev-100 (not exactly the best) which is set to Gain ~1/3 Tone ~1/4 Time half-up Room Modulate, so loop setting aren't fully representable.
All presets currently used with XLR Rec out through XLR-jack plugs, into old Luxkit Avance Z502 preamp, no filters except -20 dB attenuation, into Mackie HR 625 MKII monitors.
Guitars are either Düesenberg Starplayer with OBL 450L + 450XL, or Dan Armstrong with 3-coil MightyMite MotherBucker; works too with Schecter Riot 8 ltd with EMG 808's.
Some notes on MP-2 programming and peculiarities - more coming..
1. When using distortion in Clean Voicings, do note that how the compressor is used really has major impact on whether it sounds like utter shit or not.
Experiment with the comp modes, and just don't set the Gain too high, like 28-35 max; else it'll sound like.. shit.
2. When running out of Master Level in the gain bloc, try upping all settings in the 9-band EQ by one notch.

Clean presets (more or less)
Note: these are all purposefully setup to max the gain into the electronics following the tube board, in order to be right on the edge of solid-state distortion (normally unwanted, but loved by yours truly, because I love 'Don't Spook the Horse'), so use sensitive picking, or edgy distortion 'penalties applies' ;)

Nice one Van, thanks :thumb-up: . So made the post sticky for you so it will stay at the top.
So I programmed them all in and gave them a try (Epiphone SG with Gibson 57s). I kept your program titles, which take the longest to enter  . So hint, if you press up + down when editing titles it clears the screen and saves you some scrolling... Also the graphic focus will be where you left it (on 6.3 if you worked left to right like I did). I had a bit of mild delay and rev from the TC MOne added at the desk ("For Guitar" it's called), so I didn't get to try the loop mix setting (although I programmed them anyway)
Nice sounds, and yes cleans with a tendency to break up a little when you play a bit harder. Cool if that's what you want, back the guit vols off a little if you don't (or play gently as Van suggested).
My Fav is Crispy Blackface, very close to Crowded House "Hey Now", they are about to do a comeback concert so it was on my mind from the TV adds... I kind of tripped over it testing, kind off D no 3rd to B no 3rd with some slap delay (correction, it's Eb to C and he uses a capo on the 3rd fret)

The Vox AC30 Grunge patch is also nice, and a good one to test if all your MP2 clip leds work, lights up like a drag strip start lights LoL
Yeah, as said, some of the cleans were set to do this edgy thang on purpose - and it has it's drawbacks, because setting the level this high makes it difficult to match certain other presets. Oh well.. living life on the edge.. ;)
(BOC: You see me now a veteran, of a thousand psychic wars. I've been living on the edge so long, where the rocks are blimble raw. Well, I'm young enough to look at, but far to old to see - all the scars are on the inside; I'm not sure if there's anything left of me..)
One thing about the MP-2 that freaks the living daylight outa me is that distortions tends to be somewhat swampy in the lower-mid register.
You'll likely have noticed this effect on the Crispy Blackface and Vox ac30 Grunge presets.
I just can't get rid of this no matter how I EQ, because Your Holy Swampiness does this within the tube section itself.
But wait! Just today, I went totally experimental on the wah, and I juuust might've found some interesting way of using it as a pre-filtering remedy; more on that later..
EDIT: Nope, that was a nogo. Oh well, even Chinese win-win doesn't work out every time..

Fire of Unknown Origin?
^ nope, it's "Veteran of Psychic Wars" from the Heavy Metal motion picture - one of the few vinyls I didn't sell; by far my greatest mistake ever, and one I can't patch up.. :'(
Gains and levels fixed, added some more fun ;)
Hey Van, I programmed your patches into my studio MP2 to try them out. Seems so far my go to patch is diamonds & gold, great patch my friend :thumb-up: , yes it's edgy >:D , suites finger style, so far it works great with my Epiphone SG with 57 re-issue PUs, and tonight I tried it with my squire strat upgraded thingy, so mostly the SD little 59 neck (with coils in parallel). Wound in a bit of delay & verb, what a great patch, thanks  .
This is a patch for exploring yourself and the beautiful clean tones (with the occasional bight) that your guitar and PU combination can do, the highs shimmer and the lows are controlled but there if you want them (although you may want to add some bottom end to taste :dunno: ).
Yeah, I'm using Diamonds and Gold on any guitar too, plus the Crispy Blackface, and for quite different styles.
Interestingly, some of the other presets are more tricky with especially very bright pickups.
My Duesenberg's OBL 450 pups works swell with all presets, whereas my now fully working StratCat with it's quite bright retro Wilkinson pups is somewhat problematic.
I know I stated in the description they'll work with any axe, but reality has a way of biting one's ass..
I just found out I have a strange stereo-balancing issue to fix on my trailing Gemini compressor/limiter, affecting how presets using the chorus will sound, which in turn affects the overall tonal balance, so once this gets fixed I'll likely go scoop up some of the presets for more general usage.
And I especially just cannot seem to get the Vox ac30 Grunge preset to not overdo the distortion in the lower frequency range, always ends up too smatty.
I think I have to attribute this to how the tube circuitry in the MP-2 simply overdoes (overdoses?) the low end distortions, no matter using clean or distortion presets. Mmnn.. voicings 4 and 5 smattyfies the tone a Bit less; weird.
I'm looking into which of the four triode stages is likely responsible, but let's keep this off this thread, to avoid pollution.
My main rock/blues patch is voice 5, very versatile and I tend to control the distortion with vol knob(s). This is quite a different approach for me as I was always everything on 10 >:D in the past.
I got nice and lost in D & G patch last night, then the sun came up, lucky it's holidays LoL. I need to drop the master vol down though (I haven't yet) so it balances with other patches. I like it so much as it is though so I've been loathed to change it.
Oh, but I do have two blues'ish Voicing 4 and 5 presets.. lamer me, will add them asap..
