Going from the videos tone, for me they sound quite different from the original mp-1 tones.I think a real mp-1 sounds warmer.
But it sounds decent enough if you are looking for a tube driven pedal but it's not my cup of tea.It's too general sounding.
As far as a 3TM goes,these are miles apart from each other regarding to tone.If you sell something like this it needs to have a tone everybody can use and the 3TM is more high gain.You can't use the 3TM to play jazz for instance.

you didn't have the chance to test one yourself in person yet?

dang I'll have to decide fast as my friend will only be in SF until saturday. in EU they are just too expensive.
