Swap/check Fuses if you change Transformers

This I'm sure is a no brainer for some members, but it just came up today.

A while ago, I got my tech to swap a MP-2 220 volt transformer with another MP-2 I have that had a US 117 volt.
I gave the resulting 117v MP-2 to my friend and he's got it working (ribbon cable issues etc.).  Was working fine then died (completely).  Turns out we (my tech) didn't change the fuses over.  So it blue a fuse   .

So 220v MP-2 uses 250ma fuse
117v MP-2 uses 500ma fuse
All good now, and I need to check the previously 117v (now 220v) one I have and fix it's fuse.  However, going from 220v (250ma) to 117v (250ma) can blow the fuse (as MikeB found).  Going from 117v (500ma) to 220v (normally 250ma, but still 500ma (coz I haven't changed it)) will work, it's potentially dangerous though, in that, it will work but if there's an issue which should blow the fuse, it may not.

So note to selves, when you change out a transformer for a different country voltage, (which we do from time to time), make sure you also do the fuse.
