Well, I finally saw one...online, not in person (although, I could drive there in less than 2 hours).....an ADA G500S

Pics below for posterity. The whole rig looks very clean (but pricey)

Hey Dante, nice rig.  How much is it?
Studio Rig: Stuff; Live Rig: More Stuff; Guitars: A few

Asking $1,800

Selling for a family, owner died :X

This was given to me by somebody that I was caring for through cancer before he passed away. Is it case enclosed system? The case is metal and wood he had told me that the piece had never been used and I'd like to sell it all as one unit. However, I will entertain the sale of individual parts. I would prefer to sell it to somebody locally so that you can come see it touch it check it out. It is in mint condition and while he may have turned it on, he never used. It is what he told me before he passed away. He wanted me to have this for all that I had done for him. I myself am not a musician, so I'm selling it.

That seems like a fair price considering its age.

The MP-2 and the delay could sell faster, but the 500 watt power amp? That could be harder to unload. It seems hard enough to take a 100 watt amp to a gig these days let alone one that loud.

   :dunno:

Dante

Agreed. That's a lot of power amp for a guitar

And I thought my 150w cabs were overkill

No way, that's perfect for guitar  , 2 4 x 12"s :woohoo2: .  Granted, you'd only be able to use it flat out on a big stage and/or open air.  But you can turn it down.  Also it's 250w per side into 4 ohms, into 8ohms more like 190w(ish)

Seems a fair price considering it's not been used.  I wondered why nothing was patched in the rear view pic.

@Harley, it would be perfect to go with a few of your 10 ADA cabs :thumb-up: .  Then again where would you get to do that  .

The power amp would be great for a bass player although that market has gone D class predominantly. E.g. my bass player's Messa Subway WD800, light weight small footprint 800w.

Richard,

There's no place near me that would let me play an amp that loud. Why do you think my PS 400 just sits in a corner with its cover on? That amp can make your eardrums bleed at 90 paces.

I already have the B500B with my bass rig.

Besides, I like the tone from the MT100s and I have a few of them. That's more than I can play in any clubs around here, (I still do it anyway even if they bitch about it).
