ADA MP2 "BAD DATA ERROR"(Need Help)

Hey I just got an ADA MP2 used from Japan.But as soon as I switched it on it goes as follows:
1)ADA Signal Processor Version......1.33
2)NO "Standby Tube Warming Up"(Normal loading screen)
3)Only "Bad Data Error" and then it cycles through 1 to 128.
4)The output is basically hum and noise.I strum my guitar while cycling through presets but the output is only noise.However the type of noise comes out changes from preset to preset.

I have also TRIED the following
1)Removed the battery from D900 position(Haven't put it back as needs re-soldering)
2)Removed the EPROM and put it back
3)Replaced both tubes with 12AX7
4)Removed the K800 connection and put it back.
Nothing works out.Also search the forum regarding "BAD DATA ERROR" but couldn't find any information related to MP2.Got in touch with marshalljmp through email, got his reply awaiting for the follow ups.

Any help from this forum will be appreciated.

Hopefully there's an easy fix

Generally bad data error is a RAM issue.  A couple of things to try:
Check the battery has more than 2.7v or it will give trouble.
Carefully remove the RAM and EPROM chips and reinsert and then you'll need to reload the factory presets (into RAM) as the RAM will be cleared.

Does your problem looks the same on the lcd, I see some weird stuff going on.

Pretty close to the same thing. The top line says program instead of what his has and counts through 0-128. The battery was swapped when I did the noise mod about a year ago. Played less than 5 hrs since then. Was fine right after then a couple months ago started the error data stuff. Any changes I make are gone the next time I turn it on. Couple days ago I swapped the op Amps for the wah and it started working again. So there's one plus.

I don't know crap, but that sounds like a battery issue (not saving patches).

Would the 1.41 eprom help the data error?

So it stopped after you replace the wah opamp? BTW what opamp did you use?

No the 1.41 won't help.

No sorry the wah issue was unrelated.I put 2604 opamp after reading another thread where you recommend ed those for a wah problem. I still have the bad data error. I was just saying I atleast got one problem(the wah) fixed with your help.

Turns out my battery inside was dead. I replaced it, but it still has the same data error and all the weird display stuff. Copied presets to users and factory reset and nothing has helped.

Here's my thinking...
Ok battery dies, so no changes kept, you replaced battery, that will keep RAM powered up.

From my experience, not that I've had data errors, is various things trigger full power up diagnosis e.g. remove and re-insert chips (RAM, EPROM, CPU).  The other culprit I've been dealing with with my friend is the ribbon cable from the front panel to the PCB.  In his case it wouldn't boot up at all.  He's now replaced the ribbon cable socket on the PCB (same as MP-1 socket, and thanks MJMP ). But he also had to (very carefully) expose the conductive material on the ribbon cable end that plugs into the socket.  Any one of those contacts that fails can cause issues from no boot, to partial etc.

So worth checking .

First check the battery again, sometimes due to a fault it can drain very quickly, just  to rule it out.

When you reload the factory presets does it function ok until you turn it off?
