MDRT Wiring

Hello

Would anyone have a wiring diagram to convert my currently 120vac wired MDRT transformer in a 3tm mp-1 to a 240Vac primary wiring? Im imagining that it would be 2 wires that need to be moved..

Hey Dennis, I've attached the original installation instructions, hopefully that helps.  IIRC the MDRT can be wired either 240v or 120v.  Remember to change the power fuse from 500mA (120v) to 250mA (240v).

Yes i have that manual.. The conversion process from 120 to 240 or 120 is not shown.

Here is a simple (I hope) explanation on how to convert this arrangement to 240VAC input.

Please only do so if you are skilled. Electricity kills, bla bla bla, I take NO responsibility for what you do to your body! 

Found this image here in the forum while trying to find the specs for the transformer since MJMP looks like is away?

Anyways, please see attached. You get all plain white wires to the "white" terminal, all black/white wires to the "black" terminal, and bridge the center 120-0 points. This is the way you put the primaries in series on both transformers and can safely connect to 240Vac mains.

@455, as posted before, change the fuse to 250mA slow blow.

The pic looks ok to do but you can cut the 2 inner wires and hook up the 2 outer ones.
