New from the Northwest
« on: Time Format »

Just signed up and saying hi. I'm a 50 year old bedroom guitarist located in the greater Seattle area and I've been on a bit of a push acquiring some of the rack gear I lusted over back in the day. Truth be told, I had an MP-1 back in the mid 90s but stupidly sold it off before moving up here to the PNW. I've started looking for a MP-1 but prices have gotten insane thanks to all the YouTube demos and retro gear reviews. There's an MP-1 for sale locally but I really don't want to spend $600 on it. Ugh. It's gonna be a battle of patience.

Here's my home rack it will be joining. Plenty of FX options to choose from with my Digitech GSP-21 Legend & GSP-2112 (with 2120 upgrade), Roland GP-8 & GP-16, and ART SGX-2000 Express. I just picked up a Boss ES-8 to manage the switching between the units and it all goes into my Roland JC-22 which I've been pretty happy with.

Anyways, cheers. Happy to now be here.

Hey Steve, nice set up, MP-1 will make a good addition  :thumb-up: .  Welcome to the depot and greetings from Australia  .  One unfortunate issue with sourcing a MP-1 (or anything else these days) is postage is just way expensive  even if you can find one at a decent price.
Cheers R

Hey Steve!

I'm local, too!  We might have even run into eachother at shows here and there.

I'm playing tonight at Kirkland Eagles, maybe you can swing by and we'll talk gear!  :headbanger:

Welcome to the Depot Steve!

I'm going to Seattle on Halloween, to see the Seahawks take on the Jag-Wires ;)

Maybe we could get a beer (or a few) before/after the game?

BTW: While my MP1 Classic is in the shop, I'm using a Digitech 2120 Artist preamp - you probably upgraded your 2112 to be the same thing, eh?
