Just saw a clean looking Viper combo with the snake charmer footswitch on Reverb.com for a decent price

Now is your chance

I'd love one but it's US voltage and shipping to Australia would be crazy expensive :-(

Me too but the same problem as R.

I looked at it, and it's a tempting price, but I'm at the point in life where I'm considering unloading gear.

Gigs have been non-existent in my area, and I already own a lot of amps, but damn! I'm tempted. :dunno:
I only have two brain cells left, ...and I'm saving them for the weekend!

Dante

I feel the same way....the last thing I need is another amp, I just sold several

I'm all rig and no gig, it makes zero sense for me to collect more

Funny, when you go to the same URL now, it's someone's MP-1 in Canada!

One of the images provides a shot of the insides.  The listing claims that the trimmer pot added in the EQ section (circled yellow in image) controls midrange. But that is on the bass circuit! I.e. it's a thing to set the frequency of the bass shelf.

Also, another thing caught my eye: the C34 input capacitor is a green mylar, not the original ceramic disc. (Or were some of them mylars out of the factory?) It's the thing way in the lower left corner of the image, basking in the glow of the V1 tube.

It's a green mylar in my MP-1 ... because I put that in myself!

Hey Kaz, interesting, when I go to the link you posted it says local pick up in Geelong VIC (not far from Melbourne) in Australia.  Also no internal pics and advertised for $1200 AUD with $50 shipping.  Weird

Edit, I didn't notice the banner at the top which says "That listing has sold, Check out the similar listing below" so they are showing me a MP-1 in Australia.
