Semi Broken MP1 (stock)
« on: Time Format »

Hey guys

Ive a stock MP1 that has begun acting weird.
A few weeks back , i took it out for a change from the 3tm , and noticed a rattling sound inside the unit like something loose.
I opened it above a wooden floor, so id hear whatever it was, hit the ground as it fell out - nothing came out and the rattling was gone.

So i put the lid back on and began playing. About 30mins into the rocking , the screen and leds began to flicker slowly , then speeding up.
It always begins this way , then eventually the leds and screen go out completely and the sound goes off at this stage too.

Since then ive had it on a few times ; Sometimes it will run fine , othertimes it goes into flicker mode and then dies.
Its thrown up a few error messages too , and sometimes all presets are at 0.0 master volume when i start it .
Buttons become non responsive or lag behind, and the startup light sequence is all wrong ...
I also notice anytime i run it in my rack with the mesa 2:90 it always flickers much sooner , as if the heat from 2:90 sets off the fault .

Here is a video , Any Ideas ?  :dunno: :???:

Easiest option is to get MJMP to sort it for you, There's a post regarding dead battery problems which IIRC seems a bit similar to what you're experiencing, not sure.

Seems more like a power supply problem.
