Yeah, you guys know I bought a CG-1 Roland Ready Strat in 2017, right after I found out they were discontinued.

I have been messing around with the BOSS GP-10, which does have a few synth sounds, and the GR-55 has a lot more. I do want to get a SY-1000 for it though. Those are the only three that have the 13-pin DIN plug with them.

Hey Harley, I got to futz around with a (can't remember the name, starts with G, Canadian guitars, oh yeah Godin).  It was a thin bodied classical/electric that had the Rolland PU thingy, it had the fancy plug (13 pin DIN) and the guy has a SY-1000 I think  :dunno: .  The sounds were very realistic (played a bit of flute etc.).  Even the synth guitar sounds were decent and you could definitely use it instead of keyboards.

I'm a terrible keyboard player, that's why I got into the guitar synth stuff. So I could add keyboard textures without the keyboard attitude.
