No Sound with Tube Voicings
« on: Time Format »

Hi to all.

This is my first post as a new member.
So hope all goes well :)

Lately my MP-1 has developed issues with the tube voicings.(clean and distortion)
When I power up the unit , there is no sound from the tube voicing after a few minutes .
Before the tube voicing shuts off , I hear a sort of crackle
There is sound when I switch to solid state.

If I switch off and on , the tube voicing issue is still present.
The only way that the tube voicing returns temporarily is if I switch on the unit after a few days that is the unit has been switched off.

I even swapped the tubes with other functioning tubes , but still the issue is still present.
Has anyone encountered a similar issue in the past ?
I tried searching the forum , but I did not manage to encounter a similar issue

I would like to keep using the mp-1 . I strongly believe that there is no gear that matches its tone qualities.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

Regards
Paul

Hey Paul, I sure MJMP will hep you get it solved.  Sounds like a component has become heat sensitive to the point it breaks down.
