We've lost Neil Peart
« on: Time Format »

Just read that Neil Peart is longer with us.
Rest in Peace, Neil.
You were among the very greatest, and will be thoroughly missed.

(EDIT: Fixed his first name spelling)

Music, Percussion and Rhythm has just lost a soul creator.

So much joy, influence and inspiration of what can be achieved has left us with a saddened heart.

R.I.P. Neil.

Been playing Rush all weekend.
Dream Theater held 30 seconds silence in his memory, during the show in Amsterdam last Saturday (I never heard such a deep silence in a sold out 5000 seat venue before, Respect)

Been shook ever since I found out...one of a kind, truly a sad sad loss. Such a private guy, such a pioneer. RIP  :-\
