They are excellent band MJMP.

Their second album is different, different singer and more speed orientated but still great.  I think they returned to this style later though when the original singer came back.  Great band check out what you can of theirs.

Good taste on this thread!  I only have Riot's first album I think.  My friends introduced me to them.  I have to buy some more albums!!

I think a lot of that band died tragically if I recall??

Yes the original singer died in 2003 (pancreas cancer) and the original gitarist and founder of the band died in 2012 (Crohn). The best album IMO was fire down under, a real classic album, full of great songs. If you want I can send you all I have from them.
