Well theres usually a line/ instrument switch that needs to be set and then of course the threshold. I would start with the threshold minimal and adjust accordingly.
If not else check patch cables. hope that helps.

Hi Bunkyloo,

Got of all channels of Hush Ultra the treshold on  1, en other turned down then is hear sound very soft far away.
Think I gonna put the Hush in the fx loop, it's a programmable by midi switchable every preset his own noise gate settings

SO you have the MPE28 in the loop that's good as it is mono. I am assuming your'e running stereo at the end.
Have you tried 1 channel before the mp-1 to hush guitar noise? and check each channel ? gotta start simple.

I understand what you want to achieve I am just not sure it would work well that way. Rnolan or Kim are both pretty good at patching. I would wait for one of them to chime in.
FX loop is seemingly unusual place for noise reduction. :dunno:

Why the tubes are the most creating the hiss etc onon front at full

Put Ultra befor preamp is nit the solution, Hush at output 3tm doesn't work even with outputknob

If the Hush isn't working after the 3TM L/R outs then something is wrong, either with the hush or cables  :dunno: .Does the 3TM work ok without the hush? if so it must be the hush or cables that are a problem. The hush had a true bypass feature, this passes the input signals direct to the output, if this doesn't work it's likely a cable issue, if it does work then most likely something is wrong with the hush.  Are you sure you have the hush settings right?
There are a few ways you could patch the hush but you need to get it working first.  IIRC MJMP uses his before his 3TM and in the loop (i.e. one hush channel before 3TM and the other hush channel in the loop).

I don't use a Hush but a decimator  and yes I use one channel before the 3TM but I don't use it in the loop but after the 3TM ( so out A goes to the second channel of the decimator). Never been a big fan of the Hush.

I love my hush if I am perfectly honest, but the hush I have is ancient.  It's from 89 I think Hush IICX.  Best single ended NR I've ever used.

I also used a Hush Silencer pedal, these are sought after and there is a good reason why.

Recently picked up a Hush II X and this is the half rack version of my other Hush however there is a problem with it.  Needs fixed.  When the gate closes there is a loud stupid undesirable noise, like the noise you get with a poor guitar lead connection.  No idea what it could be!

Sorry to hi-jack thread.

Is the Hush Ultra digital?
