Wiring help please
« on: Time Format »

I just bought a MP-1 from ebay and open opening it to clean it out I notice that the green wire from the power input to the unit is not connected anywhere. Can anyone help me to find where I need to connect it?

What Version is your mp-1?You can find it on the eprom or does the unit has a topswitch?

If you're not sure post a pic of the inside so i can have a look myself.

It is v1.38. It has a top switch. I can take a photo of it tomorrow if it is needed.

Okay no pic needed then. The green wire needs to be soldered on the starground connection. It's located near the big caps. It's a big pad where all the ground connections will go to.
