Good move on the Orange Drops that's the way to go. Mallorys are great too.

I also like the mod3 and the mods systematic suggested back then were so good i kept them in the mod3 boards i sell. Most of the time i make the mods a bit customized to the likings of the customer. The mod 3 was never meant to be a super high gain mod.I also like the clean tube sounds the the mod3 has. This was never possible when the board was heavily modded. It's always a bit of ying and yang i guess.

Now as for plate voltages usually the first preamp tubes have lower voltages, usually in the 150-225V range, the last stage the phase splitter is higher more in the 300V range. This is done to have enough voltage swing to drive the power tubes. This is close to the max voltage specified in the datasheet of the 12ax7/ecc83.I don't think these can handle 400V plate voltage, especially the current tubes in production.

I understand but Mod3 is described as Modern Distortion tone. Slo/5150/Recto. Sorry those are High Gain amps can we agree on that? I just think the description is false and misleading.
I don't a point in less gain in a MP1. Traces Voodoo Mod blew straight ass. He took a Metal preamp and turned it to a 60-70's rocker and charged $500+   WTF!?

The only mods I can see worth doing is the 3.666 and 3TM. Honestly just one added gain stage would be sick with out the Cathode follower.

MJMP were looking for 5150 gain out of the MOD3. Block Letter style. I've done.most of the foot work. Lets see what You,GB and I come up with. I've been a Depot Mod user for over 10 years. Lets all collab and get back a New Mod to the Depot.

I'm not saying completely drop Mod3.... but a Mod3 5150 would be nice.
Can you at least comment on my Mod idea and adjustments and chime in with your two sense because I think its a pretty damn good idea. Why the fear of something New?

.jpg files up to 10MB should be ok (I just verified in attachment settings), so it should work fine.  That's if the file really "is" a .jpg, just coz it's got a .jpg extension doesn't mean it is a jpeg (sorry IT Security hat on LOL). And unfortunately, jpegs are a know and often used place to hide malware. Recommend some malware scans with different products (avast, sophos, AVG have free ones) (always a good idea regardless).
Appart from that

BTW IIRC when I was attempting to play the snippet you sent me a while ago it was pretending to be something else and not the file extension it was supposed to be. ?

Works for me ? (although it's now got an Ultrasonic not the SD Hot Rail) You can do a work around (as SC suggests), but if its a "normal" .jpg it should work.

Sorry this has taken so long. My injury took a little more of me than expected. Working without the use of my right arm the last weeks has slowed things down quite a bit.
I sent the schematic to Dante and he was kind enough to pass in onto MarshallJmp for review and his added input.
Sorry this has taken so long but its in the works, thanks to everyone that is interested.
