Title: B200B Replacement Fan Options???...
Post by: BoWeevil on July 07, 2014, 09:00:28 PM
Hey All,
Just picked up my second MB-1 and the matching B500B from the original owner!
Pretty stoked, but the fan on the 500B is really loud!
I took the fan out and gave it good cleaning, but the noise still remains.
I started poking around on eBay, but this particular model doesn't seem to want to show up in my searches.
I have attached a pic of the specific model, but its an IMC PEWEE BOXER, Model # 3115FS 12T B20, 115V.
Looking forward to any and all suggestions on a decent replacement.
Thanks!

Hey BoWeevil, I didn't know any ADA gear had fans in them ?? But B500s' are not as common...and it would make sense as the B200s's gets very warm..
I assume you could go for an equivalent fan, MJMP or Sparker may have better suggestions ?

Did you try spraying any WD-40 (or equivalent) into the bearings + shaft? Might do the trick (use the long thin tube to get right inside).

Or you could also try some Teflon like they sell for pushbike wheel hubs/chains ?
