MT200 poweramp's Presence always at about 10:00 position.
Doesn't sound as "woofy" and loose as these settings might imply, rather it has a very solid fump for me.
The MESA RECT CHRS patch is the exact same settings as above, but with Chorus In: Depth 85% and Rate 0.2
Mmm it's worth checking out.
Hey Kim, so this is to augment your B tuning ? I'll run it up later and check it out.
hi Kim, thanks for sharing !
Do you have any mods on your MP2(MDRT... or else ) ?
Yes, Standard B tuning and no MP-2 mods that I'm aware of.
Your MP2 has the noise mod done ;))

I think this was a pre-installed setting and I didn't need to change it much. Anyway, I like it for the contrast against my main patch.

As the title says, it's Dirty and has Chorus. ;)
I use an entire Bank on my pedalboard but just for these preamp patches I've listed. The rest is all about the fx unit after the MP-2; just different combos of fx with these preamp patches.

I liked that head, that was pretty cool.

Update: This setting "does" seem a bit extreme at home on the QuadTube.
(EDIT: I just changed the Mid from -6 to -2) I believe there must be other factors involved that make this setting work for me at band rehearsal. Speaker selection and a higher volume seem to help these settings settle in. I'm sure the speakers do their thing with their respective freq responses and attenuations that occur when pushed a bit. The lower volume I use at home (along with the different speakers in the QuadTube than what I have in the Rig of Fire cabs) indicate that I'll need to re-evaluate the home settings a bit. I'd like to record (as close as I'm able) the tone I have in the live setting though.
Hey Kim, both of your recto patches sound killer on my rig! Even with my presence on the MT200 at 10 o'clock.

Cool! 8) I also had recently raised the Presence on my MT200 to about that same level.
Hey Kim, just ran up the 3 patches and gave them a whirl with the squire strat upgrade, 3 very different patches, so clean fingers very nice (nice usable sound!), but very soft compared with crunchola, that ones got some edge >:D and dirty chorus was quite sweet... (well I assume you know what I mean by that..)

I suppose I could even them out a bit in the preamp, but for now I just have the fx unit do the overall volume adjusts.
Here's a few interesting patches that the previous owner set up on my Quad Tube; should transfer to the MP-2 as well:

UPDATE: I've been trying out a different speaker cab and this main patch really is too woofy after all. My old speakers must have been really holding back all that low end, because the speakers I'm using atm (rebranded Eminence Legend speakers) seem to be a lot more open and neutral sounding than the Celestion/Eminence speaker combo. Therefore, I basically have to write a new patch and start the whole EQ process at 0. And...it sounds pretty good there, too. lol
