New MP-1

I bought another MP-1, it's an older unit with Rev D board V1.38  looks to be made around 1988.  Still digging my original unit but now feels nice to have a spare....

I got good news and bad news!

Good: This unit actually sounds and feels better then my original MP-1

Bad: It hums ridiculously....

Hey Luke, you may also want to follow this post (http://adadepot.com/index.php?topic=2156.0), it may become the blue print noise mod for all old MP1s  :dunno: , albeit he hasn't finished yet.

Does it hum on all voicings or only on the tube voicings? Also is there a difference if something is plugged into the input or not?

Does it hum on all voicings or only on the tube voicings? Also is there a difference if something is plugged into the input or not?
