I know that you, metalheads think about Scorpions : "they sing girl's ballad... they wear streched leather trousers" like RabidGerry will one day
Anyway, Rudolph & Mathias sound like german panzer during the Blitzkrieg Polland campaign !

And I tell you, guys .... I'M STILL LOVING THEMMMMMMMMMM !

World Wide Live is a great show :thumb-up:

I like the earlier Scorpions work as well, from the 1970's, I guess Tokyo Tapes would represent that era as a live album.

Recently watched the Live at Wacken DVD, recorded in 2006, very good set list, and some special guest appearances.
Preamps: MP-1, MP-1 Classic, MP-2, Soldano SP-77, Piranha

Love the scorpions from the debut album Lonesome Crow up to Blackout, after that it became too mellow IMO.Too bad because they were an awsome band in the 70's.

No I would never wear leather trousers, I'm not rich enough, but I'm sure you wear them when you go up tiling roves

I'm not really into the Scorpions, however I saw them in 2006 and f*ck they put on one of the best most entertaining live shows I have ever been to.  For that they get my most maximum respect.  I went to see Judas Priest that night, all time fav band of mine and I will say Scorpions blew them away that night.  I think Priest were nervous being back in Belfast that night as they had not played there since 1990!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Respect to the Scorpions.
