Post by: Gemini75 on December 01, 2014, 03:19:00 AM
Could someone please give me some recommendations as to who's doing MP1 mods in the US?

Thanks.

Hey Gemini75, there's a few sources it seems in the us, but any really good tech should be up to it given the schematics etc we have here. Depending where you are (where are you BTW) there may be someone with ADA experience (which can't hurt).

Necro bump.

I saw the R3FX is out of business now. No one specializing in MP-1 mods in the US anymore!??

Hey Gemimi75, these guys are supposed to be good (The Tone Doctor of Houston), kawai2g4b used the recently for his MP2 and said they were very good. I'm sure there some others (come on US ADAers  recommendations please).

Yes, Tone Doctor is very knowledgeable on preamp mods period but he has experience with the MP1 as well.  I'm definitely going back to him when I go get my Carvin Quad X's lead channel modded.
