So do you guys build your own midi cables for your racks or buy 1 foot long ones and have all the extra cable hanging around?

I tend to buy them as I need them, which isn't often.....but hey make your own if you want, they're just data cables... Now signal cables is a different story..

My midi-through cable only has to go about 2 inches.  I have used a 30cm cable that is looped up and secured with a cable tie.  I could have made one , but really couldn't be bothered. I never have to look at it so it doesn't matter too  much
