MP1, Which noise mod Original or V2?

Hey all, Long time lurker (8 years, lol) around these parts, I joined when I bought my first MP-1, sold it, and recently bought another.

my new unit is quite noisy, and I'm gearing up to do a noise mod. I've looked over both docs in the vault. I realize that the original mod involves swapping the op amps, which is not yet a priority. There other thing I see is the cap value differences.

So, I guess my question is, should I do V2 first, and implement the TL072's if the V2 mod doesn't offer enough noise reduction?

The only other mod that interests me is the rear input jack. so I'll probably do that as well

Just do the V2 mod and only change U4
