Is it possible to get the MDRT (or an equivalent) mod for the MP2.
-
Hey DazzyB
I wish as I'm a MP2 user (so not that I know of). Unfortunately (for me/us) the MDRT is for the MP1 and MB1 (MJMP does it work in the MP1 Classic ? seems it should if the original tranny works for all 3 (MP1/MB1/Classic)). If Machinator ever gets some (enough) free time, maybe he can design us one  (seems he had a bit more spare time back when he designed the MDRT), or who knows, maybe someone else on the board could design us a new tranny for the MP2. You can buy replacement MP2 transformers (http://www.marshalljmpmodshop.net/miscellaneous_parts_and_replacement_tubes.htm), although there's only 110v versions that MJMP has on his site.

Doesn't work in the classic,at least not without performing some modifications.

Hey MJMP, how hard would it be to get a MP2 version ??
-
Won't be easy and it will be hard to fit since i think i will need 3 transformers (ony 2 for the MDRT).It will also be more expensive.

Do you think it would be worth it sonically ?, an option from the space perspective maybe to make it out board with a maybe a din socket on the MP2 ??

Not so much as the mp-1,the PSU of the mp-2 is much better designed.
