Go SC :whoohoo!: what a find, I suspect (once you've put some strings on it) your fingers will regret it for about a week though LoL.

The "History" brand is a Fuji-gen made Shimamura exclusive and a couple of steps higher than FGN... Hereś the website: http://history.gt/
I also found out some more detailed specs:
- 1pc Alder body
- 1pc Maple neck, narrow 70s Precision Bass shape
- 250mmR (10" radius) Rosewood fretboard
- oiled cow bone nut
- 20 Jescar FW47095 C.F.S. (circle fretting system http://www.fgnguitars.com/cfs.html) frets
- GOTOH GB2 machine heads/tuners
- KTS PR-03SPWB1 bridge
Some of my japanese friends I talked to this week totally raved about the History brand saying that this was the top of the line instruments being manufactured at Fuji-gen
*edit:
Back in business....all strung-up and set up properly. I ain´t no bass player but this is a solid crafted machine!
