Title: Mod 3.666
Post by: RobbHell on June 27, 2014, 03:51:21 PM
Not sure in many are aware but if you have a 3.666 and or have done one get that 500K Trimpot the Hell out of there and put R74 (20K) Back in there.  As far as the Trimpot  50K is the highest you can go before  theres way too much clipping going on. Even the Stock 20K is fine.

Makes wonder how many are floating around Not corrected or on Ebay.  Sometimes when designing  products certain Trimpots and Resistor.values are there for a reason and honestly.sometimes better left alone so as not to create more problems. The Feedback loop is just fine. Heres another example Stock Gain Mod don't perform that part of the Mod either. The 1M  on R 21 and changing R14 to 1M is more effective then screwing around with T2 and R74., R20-R21 can use 470K to dail it back a bit. A 50K trimpot can be added  to T2 location not always a must.
