I am in need for an ADA MP-1 if anyone in the U.S. has one for sale.  My old one is now defunct and need a replacement.  Replaced the Battery with the battery mod (everything done to specs) and now it won't even power up. Thanks!

Hey wtolp, all is not lost !! I agree it's a good idea to bye a replacement/spare (or 2).
So tell us a bit more detail, so you did battery mod ok, that's just about storing and maintaining  patches (3 v lithium Ion battery to keep ram chip enabled lasts ~ 10 years (experience says double that BTW)).
You should be able to get it going again, MJMP and others will help. Dumb question, but have you got the memory battery +ve and -ve the right way ?

Thanks for the reply.  I am sure that the battery is installed properly.  I was trained to do circuit board repair by the U.S. Air Force.  I think the transformer may have kicked the bucket.  I have replaced the fuse, because it was blown (and the unit would power up before).  After replacing the blown fuse with a new one and performing the battery mod with the correct polarity, the unit will no longer power up.

Hey wtolp, If the transformers cactus you can get a new US voltage one here (http://www.marshalljmpmodshop.net/miscellaneous_parts_and_replacement_tubes.htm), I don't think the MDRT (a much better transformer BTW) works for MP1 Classic. Well obviously fuses blow for a reason. MJMP or others should be able to step you through checking why it blew and if you need a new transformer.

I have a few spare 110V transformers if you need one?

Did you try to measure the voltages comming out of the transformer?

See attachment.Let me know.Don't forget these are AC voltages!!
