That is why I mentioned that the era because those albums are underrated.  Everyone knows "the nightcomers".  The later stuff is genius of a different kind.  Early era is a lot simpler and anthemic.

I don't know if you will like the later stuff.  It's quite removed from the orginal style which is that pure NWOBHM sorta of metal.  The later stuff is described as more prog/thrashy style.  Some say like Voivod although to me it sounds nothing like Voivod.

You can see perhaps elements of this direction in songs such as the "The Small Hours" and "The Nightcomers".  The singing is also done by the guitarist and he sounds completely different.

I'll send you them MJMP but try and listen to them and forget the original sound they had otherwise you'll bias your opinion toward the classic first album.

But as for new music, just got Baroness' Purple Album and the first 5 songs made my Christmas week.

Motorhead - Another Perfect Day

it just so happens that my bands single launch has also turned into a Motorhead tribute show as well which means I'm currently learning "Die you Bastard".  We wanted to chose a non obvious Motorhead song.

We might also play "Poison" as that is one we used to play in our early days before we had a lot of songs.
