mp1 classic schematics
« on: Time Format »

My mp1 classic tubes are not heating up like they should. If I remove one the current is almost enough to make the filiments glow. My voltage is not stable and not enough to get the tubes operating. I traced the power and it originates in the power section being fed by a power transistor with a resistor between them. Then it gets power from somewhere after that. A schematic would help . The mp1 power to the filiments is unregulated 8 volt so different from my setup.

I am hooked on the brown sound that my old jmp1 doesn't have so I need to fix this and they are not to popularge or everyone is keeping theres. $500 on ebay is to much. I ordered the tip31 transistor and the voltage regulators and some new caps for the power section so I can try and fix it in the dark

Sounds like an MDRT tranny upgrade may help ? (http://www.marshalljmpmodshop.net/miscellaneous_parts_and_replacement_tubes.htm)
Plenty of schematics here if you look (http://adadepot.com/index.php?topic=148.30), also some good mods for MP1, depending what you want it to do.

The MDRT doesn't work in the classic.

So, I downloaded all the 'parts' to that multipart archive, but have so far been unsuccessful in extracting the ZIP. Grrrrrrr...

I'll keep scouring the web, it has to be out there somewhere

What's an IC?

Integrated Circuitboard? Iced Cucumbers? Ineligible Coupons? Ignorant Concubines? I could keep going...

UPDATE: The Vault has been updated to include all the stuff Sparker sent. Thank You SPARKER!!  :banana-trip: :banana-dance: O0 :metal: :banana-rock: :banana-guitar: :poop: :ada-big:
