Title: vote for me on the Seymour Duncan Reaserch Laboratory (SDRL)
Post by: El Chiguete on December 14, 2015, 02:01:55 PM
Maybe most don't know this but SD recently opened a website called Seymour Duncan Reaserch Laboratory (SDRL) for people to give ideas for future products and if the idea gets voted by many people they will look in to it, so I put my idea in there and I would like you guys to vote for it if you like it. Here is the link:

¨ACOUSTIC¨ SOUNDING PICKUP FOR THE MIDDLE POSITION

A lot of people (me included) don't normally use the middle pickup on an electric guitar, some have them all the way down because it constantly hits the pick, so why not make an ¨acoustic¨ sounding pickup to be placed in the middle position and that don't need to go close to the strings? Guitarist wouldn't need to change the hardware of the guitar to get a bridge with piezo pickups or even have to make additional routing. It would be a quick and easy mod to add flexibillity on a guitar.
