So, you've modded your MP-1 / MP-2, Power Amp, etc. Painstakingly re-capped all the PSU, took ages, burnt fingers, etc.

And it sounds even worse??

I get all my capacitors from Mouser, Newark, Allied or Digi-Key.  No issues.
