My apartment just went on sale; still in the process of selling most other belongings.
I'll be traveling for likely several month, and will need a fairly large storage box for my remains.
The box must be sturdy, as it will at some point be shipped to some other place on this planet.

I'm looking at the SKB http://skbcases.com/industrial/products/prod-list.php?d=s20&offset=5&s=s model.

Alternative ideas are wanted, as this one isn't outright inexpensive.. ;)

van,

How about an old trunk? They're relatively inexpensive if you get them 2nd hand at a pawn shop or online. Plenty sturdy, and some of them even have a lock :) The downside, they're pretty heavy. Might be costly to ship your gym equipment in there

A dude over at sevenstring.org suggested http://www.pelican-case.com/0550.html, which I'd forgotten all about.
Decently less expensive than SKB, and has pretty much what I need, like the one in the link.
Worth checking out; they have all kinds of containers, boxes and cases.

Yep, trunks could be ok, but I'll have to pay shipping fees by the pound; the Pelicans are much more lightweight.
