Hey everyone, I finally decided to purchase myself a second power amp (Marshall 9005) in order to truly use my equipment in Stereo to see what all the hype is about it.
My question is; should one power amp be getting a dry tone and the other the wet signal with all my effects? OR should both of the amps be getting the same signal?
I have as follows: MP-1 -> BBE maximizer -> Rane 15 band eq -> Alter Ego Delay -> Alesis Quadraverb -> HUSH II -> Power amps -> Cabs.
All the effects have the ability to be run in stereo. If i were to have a wet/dry setup, I'd still like the dry to be getting effected by the BBE and the Rane...
so yeah, I've never really tried to do anything in stereo before, and the whole concept kinda confuses me a bit!
Any help would be appreciated...

Hey Jarrod, what happened to you TS100 ? It's straight forward and basic with MP1/2, they are designed to run in stereo. The problem you'll have is how to mix in all the digital stuff (if you really want it) so you don't have to stuff your signal by chaining through one of your digital gadgets (and you have quite a few..). Basically first principal is analogue from MP1 > amp > Cabs (mix digital signal in "yes", chain through digital device "no" unless no other way!!!!!!)
My advice, go simple and then bring in the extras slowly as you perceive they add value.
Go simple, go stereo then add to that, just going stereo will blow you out.

My TS100 is fine, hahah! One of the channels just doesn't work so I cannot run it in stereo, which is a bummer...
I spent a few hours setting up my new rig (in stereo) and tried out just the MP-1 going into the two power amps alone and it actually sounded pretty cool! However I still need my effects... hahah...
Alot of people have recommended setting the depth on the chorus to 100 when in stereo in order to get a more separated sound, but to me it just seems out of phase...
Also alot of you seem to love the chorus on your mp-1s but to me its almost unusable really (for dirt channels that is, clean its fine).
Even with depth on 1 there is just too much chorus to be usable for me... could something be wrong with the trimpot? I've never touched it so... yeah hahah
(all of these questions are really just for anyone out there reading hahah, not directed at anyone particular!)

Can you get the TS100 channel fixed ?
RandallRG played around with the chorus trim pot to good effect IIRC, have a search for his posts.

I could get the channel fixed as it seems to be a fairly simple issue from what I've found, but it'd cost way too much money to get it fixed. Techs in my area wanted to charge me $200 to fix it and I'm 90% sure its just a failed part. SO, I went out and bought a brand new power amp (for $200...) so I could use my equipment in Stereo.
As of right now my Marshall 1960 is hooked up to my Marshall power amp, and the Bugera cab is hooked up to the Carvin TS100.

It's a bitch when it costs more to fix something than what you can buy another for.
If your up for fixing it yourself one of our tech members may be able to talk you through it ?
