Ok, I have to ask at this point.  As I have alluded to in a different post, I am trimming down on my equipment.  One of the biggest hurdles keeping me from selling off my traditional amp heads is my attraction to fuzz tones, stoner rock and early 70s funk and soul.  Has anyone on the forum been able to get a good fuzz combination with a certain rack preamp?  If so, what challenges have you had to overcome when dialing both in?

To this point I have not been able to try any combinations due to moving, work etc.  Next month I will be able to experiment with suggestions.  I know I will be blasting the fuzzes through cleaner channels.
