Another really great American metal band, Riot.

Good taste on this thread!  I only have Riot's first album I think.  My friends introduced me to them.  I have to buy some more albums!!

I think a lot of that band died tragically if I recall??

Yes the original singer died in 2003 (pancreas cancer) and the original gitarist and founder of the band died in 2012 (Crohn). The best album IMO was fire down under, a real classic album, full of great songs. If you want I can send you all I have from them.

I've seen them live in Leiden NL, opening up for Iron Maiden on the "Killers" Tour  :banana: :metal: :metal: :metal: :banana:

Well I am very envious, that's pretty cool.  They only had two albums and they are both great.  The first album has former Iron Maiden singer singing on it.  Paul Mario Day.  He can also sing really good even today.
