Quick question...
Is the XLR output mic level as indicated on the unit or line level? The manual does not mention.
Thanks for help.

It's line level according to the schematics.

Thanks very much. This will be very helpful for my needs.
So the description on the unit is an error?

Interesting... The Microcab I has line level XLR outputs while the Microcab II has mic level outputs according to the schematics. I guess I'll need to mod the outputs of my II to the I schematics.

Just had a look at the schematics. Very strange...
For the Microcab I:
The schematic for Audio Channel A (drawing number 807) has the balanced out labelled as "mic level".
The schematic for Audio Channel B (drawing number 808) has the balanced out labelled as "line level".
The electrical components in the output sections are exactly the same as per the diagrams!?! So I suspect a labelling error.
Does anyone know for certain whether the XLR outs are mic or line level?
Thanks,
JK

Same for the MCII schematics, ch A mic, ch B line. Thanks for pointing that out, never noticed it before.

I believe both channel A and B are line level. There is no drop in signal when I use both channels to the mixing board.

What out do you use, the jack or xlr?

To a mixer I always use XLR
