Stock gain mod and Mod1
« on: Time Format »

Hi guys.

I have a mo1 with the 5150/soldano mod 3. I really dont need that mod (have a real soldano) and was going to return it to stock as a backup in my live rig (accompanying a stock mp1). Ill use the schematic to find the stock values etc.. then i saw the stock gain mod which seemed interesting.. but then I saw the mod1 which claims more marshall bite...

I do have the 3tm mod sitting in a box but i dont have any interest in this yet as i feel my stock unit is perfect and more than plentiful. .

So what's recommended here.. return to stock then try the stock gain mod.. then return back to stock and then try the mod1? Can they be combined i wonder??

Any thoughts from the electronics guys?

Years ago when Kim did work on my 1.38 version I believe he added the stock gain mod but I honestly can't remember. I had so much done at that time and I'm getting old.  :dunno:

Kim, do you remember?
