Title: ADA MP2 For Sale ->SOLD<-
Post by: adam2112 on June 25, 2015, 01:59:18 PM
I have an ADA-MP2 for sale. It is factory except for the tubes which were replaced. It still works great and I still have the manual.

I also have a Digital Music Corp Ground Control MIDI Foot Controller that I used to change patches on the ADA and a DigiTech TSR-12 effects unit. I have the Digitech, also.

I will sell all three as a package or individually.

Let me know if anyone is interested.

I contacted this guy a few times now about this, he hasn't answered.  He's US Richard.

I assumed it's 110v but wanted to confirm (as I know you need 240v), and also as there are no replacement 240v tanformers around for MP2 anymore, so you'd have to use a step down transformer (i.e. maybe better to wait for a 240v model to come up ??).

Na it's fine, I use my US MP1 with an external transformer and there is no issues at all so I could just use that or buy another as it was cheap.

The guy hasn't responded.  Musta sold it.

Well that's a bummer, would be nice if he updated the post (sold or otherwise). If I spot one I'll let you know, I have 3 now, probably enough  . BTW for the sort of stuff you play, I suspect you'd need the noise mod done so you can use the high gain sounds to best affect.

Sorry guys. I'm still around. I checked the board a few days after posting and didn't see any responses. It looks like when I get a response to my post, I don't get anything in my email so I have to check back to monitor it.

I still have the MP2 and I am in the US and the unit is 110V.

I am asking $225 for the MP2.
$60 for the MIDI controller.
$50 for the DigiTech Processor.

Do you know which version ?  Should be at start up.

Is this capable of channel changing the MP-1 AND stompbox mode for GMajor2 ?

Thanks

Version 1.00

Not sure about your other question. I used to use it with an MP-1 and an multi-effects processor. If I remember correctly, I used the MIDI thru on the MP-1 to pass MIDI to the effects.

Hey Glad you moved it, if it had been a 240v model... >:D but  :-[

The latest EPROM for MP2 is 1.41 (which will display on boot/start up). But that's an easy update (and makes patch changes faster). Not sure what stompbox mode is but the MXC with CC pedal(s) and quad switch (turns midi things on/off latched or momentary (i.e. while you hold it on)) would no doubt do the stomp box thing. And yes the MXC will change any midi device including MP1.
