UPDATE:

Oh, he did a fine job!  He took the neck pocket down "a couple of whiskers" more than he wanted, but gave her an overall set up too in the process... my right hand feels AMAZING on the body instead of too high, and she plays like butter...

The neck is much thicker than the SD-1, but damn she feels nice...

Only a couple of flakes of paint missing (about the size of a few fleas) here and there on the underside of the neck pocket, but that's a small price to pay to have the guitar play like it does now...

VERY pleased after several hours of noodling...

The Dreamsicle is the orange one, the SD-1 is the white... the other three are Wildcards like the Dreamsicle, but they all have floating trems... which I also like...

I forgot to introduce myself when I joined. In my defense I was focused on repairing my MB-1 so...

I've been an ADA player since '93. Thousands of gigs on my MB-1 and it never once let me down. Heck it's so dependable I never even owned a backup amp. Recently I sold my original unit and used the funds to purchase another identical unit with the must have mods. It arrives in a few days so I can't wait to hear it. Being without an MB-1 for a whole week just seemed strange. I don't think I'll ever want to be without one.

Beyond that I grew up a straight up rock bassist with a love of most other forms of music. I also dig synthesizers. Some of my favorite bands are Rush, Kings X, Cheap Trick, Tesla, Beatles. I was exposed to jazz via Jaco and find a lot of nice things to listen to in that world, although I don't really have any favorites in particular. Not a fan of EDM, rap or county.

Hey potomuss, he originally posted on 6th march so not that long ago.  There's a post in discussions re time stamp issue which may/will help you fix it.

Hey Tomy  :thumb-up: LoL

TerraSaw seems missing in action  :dunno: , haven't heard back from him re the classic  .
I have a US B500B if that interests you.  It's with MJMP in Belgium, all fixed and ready to go, unfortunately postage is expensive as it quite heavy.

Hey Rich, you know who to call when "missing in action" ? ;D

I figured it was a shot in the dark anyway. I have no idea how old the post is. Looks like all the timestamps on the site got messed up somehow! I do appreciate your offer, but like you've said... shipping. I'll keep an ear to the ground, but in the meantime will probably just pickup something local. The piece I really need is the MXC.
