Tight Plexi Mod, Remember it?
« on: Time Format »

Does anyone remember the MP-1 Tight Plexi Mod that someone came up with shortly before the old ADA Depot went down? If so, did you ever do the mod and what did you think? I wasn't overly impressed with it and ended up putting the stock components back in. I haven't seen it on here yet in the archives, if anyone's curious about it I think I still have the pdf on my computer at home.

If you can find the pdf, post it or send it to Dante to add  :thumb-up:

Here you go. It was Gonzo Cavallo that came up with it. Is he here on the new board? Like I mentioned, I didn't love it, but I'm also not the biggest Marshall fan either. I'm curious if anyone else tried it.

I also just came across some notes I had scribbled for the MB-1 noise mod that got discussed on the old board. I'll share for feedback as soon as I figure out what components went where.

For my next MP-1, I'd like to finally pick up one of your Mod 4 MK-II boards to drop in, MashallJMP.

I think both my MB-1s have had the noise mod (and MDRT) (MJMP correct me if I'm wrong re noise mod) but they are both quiet as a mouse, and sound fantastic  :thumb-up:
What I don't get is why they take soooo long to boot up, heaps longer than MP-1 or MP-2  :dunno:
