Analogue <> Digital recording
« on: Time Format »

Here's a (analog) track (Die Young) I wrote about a young friend who died in a motor bike accident.

Recorded with Tascam 688 cassette 8 track.  The drums are Alesis SR-16 I think, I used a rockman X100 for the guitars, bass direct and vocals were SM58.  Recorded in a small(ish) bedroom back in the early 90's

Here's a much later track (digital), during Iraq war (hence Bush and his bombers lyric) but still seems pertinent today with Vlad the impalers war on Ukraine

Recorded in my lounge room with Pro Tools running on Win98.  Drums are Yamaha electric kit, electric guitar MP-2 direct cab sim outs, I think the vox were Rode NT-1.
