Title: Headrush floorboard
Post by: vansinn on December 13, 2018, 07:28:56 AM
The Headrush (almost) all-in-one floorboard popped up on my radar by chance, so I gave it some searching.
I just might give it a go..

This dude gives it (and some others) a pretty good go - check his Test #3 Mesa vid too:

And for progressive metal, Sarah Longfield's demo:

I looked into one of those a few months ago. They do seem to be sweet as hell, but come with a heavy price tag. Give a review if you get one.

Yeah, it is too expensive for what it offers. I was somewhat intrigued at first, but the price..

I'd like moving to something more manageable than the 19" rig, featuring individual components, and often with no or little software support for setting-up.
However, 19" rigs still are the more cost effective solution, especially given that I can't sell existing gear at nearly the entry price of those more modern things.
