If I unplug the cord from the mp-1 it goes away if turn the guitar volume down it goes away if I leave the cord plugged  in and unplug the guitar there is a noise as well as when I am normally playing I have another mp-1 that does the same thing and another one that doesn't Ihope that helps thanks steve btw completely silent on clean tube and ss.

Well it seems that the noise is coming from your guitar and not the mp-1.
