I'm from Massachusetts up in the USA! If you could find something that'd be amazing... haha.
And yes, the power supply is 9vac. I'm actually surprised it even works at 9v to be honest; expected it to pass no sound whatsoever. However, it does work and sounds like it's doing what its supposed to be doing. I'm sure the sound quality will be immensely better with the right gear however.
Unfortunately, I don't really think the noise problem is the microcab as I've had problems with the MP-1 and noise for a long time now. The main reason I stopped using it (and all my REAL gear honestly) is because I've set up a really nice amp sim on my computer that honestly sounds amazing to my ears and is really 'my' tone. however, i do miss the mp-1 and my full gear...
Also, another odd problem I've noticed with the MP-1 is that it' feels' weak. Like, striking a note or hammering on and such doesn't have a real nice 'response' to it... kind of hard to describe. Best I can really say is that its a lot harder to pull off good hammer ons and pulls offs without REALLY trying to get it to sound nice, whereas other amps dont give me this problem...
Honestly it feels like a sort of sensitivity issue... is this normal and to be expected with the mp-1??? Is my gain just not high enough (od1 4.4 and od2 5.5)
?
Thanks for all the help!
