Here's a quick demo I threw together.  These are the patches I'm working on for my Thumb 5:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TFc3Sgm2zTQ&feature=youtu.be

20.) Tube channel flat EQ
21.) SS channel flat EQ
22.) Clean compression channel - thought I'd use this in the rock band for the fast songs where I pedal on one note a lot, keeps my right hand from wearing down.  Also liking it for a slap tone.
23.) Scoop EQ
24.) Dark mid-rangey 'Jaco' tone.
25.) Tube Grind! Trying to emulate kind of a cranked SVT tone.
26.) Funky envelope filter patch
27.) Nasty distortion with chorus
28.) Icy clean with dripping chorus
29.) Bass Bump patch.

All of these are works in progress pretty much.

Cool BDS, you're really getting into it  :thumb-up:

Hey BDS, I had a listen, nice tones you got cooking there my friend, those MB1s are awesome  :thumb-up:  The part I found hard (MP1 patches) was deciding when to stop tweaking as they are so tweakable.

Here's the envelope filter I built, basically a Mutron clone from a Madbean PCB:

The sound is a little dark on the recording, I need to work on my setup.  I think the soundcard is the weak link. (Jr. member, yay me!)

I read up on Sure's tech help index and it says that the X2U interface was designed on Windows XP which has a much lower gain (software setting) than Windows 7.  I was running the mic level at 60% in the software settings with the X2U gain on minimum to prevent clipping.  Sure suggests having the mic level set at 2% in the software!  I'll experiment some more and re-post the demo.

Here's my Stingray on the MB-1.  The patches (10-19) mirror the thumb patches (20-29) above, just tweaked for the 'Ray.  Much improved sound on this recording.

I like what I hear on these clips  :thumb-up:

My Ibanez ATK 750 takes after a Stingray so I'm primed to get mine back from cleaning.  You and I have the similar bass-playing influences so that video really translates for me.
Pearce G2R with ADA TFX4 in loop.
ADA MB-1/B500B
And other non ADA stuff.

Kawai AQ-500 guitar, Korean Fender Lite Ash Strat, Electra X930 MPC modded, G&L L2K basses, Peavey T40, Fernandes basses.

Go BDS, very nice  :thumb-up: , I think it's missing the lows a bit though probably coz it's a you tube file format....  The top end has great definition/tone (and, like me I suspect, you don't mind a little fret buzz). I played this through my studio monitors (truths with sub) and it lacks (IMHO) lows.  I imagine it didn't when you played it...  What I'm hearing from your posts is how good the MB1 is (and f#ck me why am I not surprised....).
