Noise - Replace Resitor 913
« on: Time Format »

SC sent this link to me https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=GB-x0xZA0DU, it's exactly the noise I get in my most recent MP2 purchase (but only an issue with really high gain sounds that need the noise gate) and is different resistor than the noise gate chatter fix which is (R611 and change 10Megohm to 3Megohm) 1/2w or better 1w.
So need also to replace R913 as well with 240Kohms 1/2w resistor. I think this was from the original ADA depot ?
Sounds worth doing in all my MP2s (as well as the standard noise mod). And should fix my most recent MP2 (I'll get it done and post)

Metal Film or Metal Oxide (my preference), 0.5w or above....and you're good to go  :thumb-up:
