Title: If you live in North Carolina...
Post by: nomorepeople on May 06, 2016, 05:15:07 PM
I am in the Charlotte, NC area and if there are enough of "y'all" to meet once every 2 months in the Charlotte area, then let me know.  I play all sorts of ADA.  I've had an MP-2, an MP-1, an MB-1 and an B200s.  I play guitar or bass in whatever bands are out there but that probably describes at least a few of y'all so you can reply here or message me and we can find a bar or someotherplace to discuss anything ADA.

Hey NMP, well unfortunately (or otherwise) I'm on the other side of the world otherwise I'd love to come along and chew the fat with you  . Hopefully there's a few members in your vicinity and you can get together  :thumb-up: . May have to set up a board here for get togethers. Come to think of it, I should try to arrange a get together for the Australians, I think most of us are either in the Sydney area or Canberra (well Mike and I are in Canberra LoL).

A skype meeting is possible but you need to use a bridging service (so everyone connects to the bridge (Multipoint Control Unit (MCU))) (I assume skype has something like that but it probably costs). I think google and facechook have that kind of functionality ??, and there are various commercial offerings (again $s').  Down side is it's probably pretty patchy as there is no Quality of Service (QoS) on the internet and also very dependent on your (and everyone elses) connection speed.  Digital video either works or it doesn't  it can get very choppy but worth a try  >:D .
