Wow, very unfortunate news, Eddie dead at 65  .  I remember very well their first record, at a time when disco had taken over.  Put guitar playing back on the map and gave us a floating whammy that stayed in tune.

RIP Eddy, you'll be missed.

He was the Jimi Hendrix of my generation. RIP Edward

Me and some guys from an old band did a Zoom call last night to tip back a shot for him. We drank to Eddie, then to Neil Peart, then David Bowie, then....haha

Yeah things are going to feel different now every time I want to hear him. RIP first album came out the year I was born and was my favorite band until the split with Dave and then I had two favorite bands and  the rest history as they say RIP EVH

A true Legend.
The one who took Hendrix's lesson and sent it to next level.
Whatever the others did, he had already done it.

R.I.P. Eddie.
I'll miss you.
On the run again!

RIP EVH  Thank you for sharing your talents with all of us.  No one will ever be able to further innovate guitar playing at or even near the level of success Eddie did.
