Hmm..... I see now that the subject may have a less than positive connotation to it....
Well, since I have not been playing with a group for awhile now, and mainly noodling around on a bunch of different instruments, playing violin has again captured my fancy. So, after a 17+ year hiatus from playing violin (omg, when did I get *this* old???) I decided to pick one up again. This time I decided to go with an electric model, although a lower price range one that reviewed pretty well.
It is a Shar Music Plug N Play model. I hope I do not end up with buyer's remorse (Yes, I am thinking that I should have just dove in with one of the NS series, but, I can always add one later). One thing I liked about this one was the machine tuners (and one of the things I like about the NS series). If I am going with electric, I am not going to deal with tuning pegs.
Now, if my bow would just arrive so I can dig in to it! That will certainly be a lot better then the pizzicato noodling that I have done today, but I was surprised at how much my fingers remembered.
Then again, it is a good thing I am waiting on the bow, or I might not get enough work done or sleep.
